Entry Information
Bring entries on Saturday, September 20 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm and Sunday, September 21 from
1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Awards:  1^st place: $5 & blue ribbon; 2^nd place: $3 & red ribbon; 3^rd place: $2 & white ribbon

Class:
C - Youth Ages 13 - 17		D – Youth ages 9–12		E – Youth ages 8 & under

• LIMIT - ONE EXHIBIT PER LOT PER EXHIBITOR

• All entries must have been written or created by the exhibitor since last years fair & never entered in the fair.
• Each class will receive awards (C, D, and E).
• All awards can be picked up on the Sunday immediately following the fair between the hours of 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
• The Fair is not responsible for any item not picked up on Sunday immediately following fair.

SHOEBOX FLOAT CONTEST Floats must be made of cardboard shoeboxes with decorative material; Paper Mache, cloth and foil work the best.  The size of the float should not be larger than 14” x 9”.

POTATO DECORATING CONTEST Any variety of ordinary potato may be used.  Size of the potato has no bearing on judging.

PUMPKIN DECORATING CONTEST SPONSORED BY WINBORNE BROTHERS FARM, 3443 ROCKY HOCK RD., EDENTON, NC PHONE: 221-4128 OR 221-4204 Any variety of ordinary pumpkin may be used.  Size of pumpkin has no bearing on judging.
03	Pumpkin Decorating Contest
GREATEST GRANDPARENTS ESSAY / FAVORITE FAIR MEMORIES Essay can be written about one or two grandparents or about a favorite fair memory in 100 words or less. Essay must be clearly printed or typed. Entry may be mailed to Chowan Co. Regional Fair, P.O. Box 390, Edenton, N.C.  27932. All entries still have to be picked up on the Sunday immediately following fair.
04	Greatest Grandparents Essay
LEGO CONTEST Be creative!!!  Create an exhibit made of Legos. Exhibits must be the work of the Exhibitor.  No larger than 12” x 18”. For fragile constructions, place on base (if necessary).
