Entry Information
Bring entries on Saturday, September 20 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm and Sunday, September 21 from
1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Awards:  1^st place: $5 & blue ribbon; 2^nd place: $3 & red ribbon; 3^rd place: $2 & white ribbon

Best of Show Award -   Departments 5 and 6 will be judged together.  There will be one award
for the winning adult entry ($15) and one award for the winning youth entry ($15). 

Class:
A – ages 18–64		C - Youth Ages 13 - 17		E – Youth ages 8 & under
B – ages 65 & up		D – Youth ages 9–12		F - Professional

• LIMIT -  ONE EXHIBIT PER LOT PER EXHIBITOR
• Articles exhibited in this department must be the work of the exhibitor whose name appears on the entry tag and have been made since September 2005.
• Where there is no competition, or exhibit has been incorrectly entered, judges may award first, second or third premiums or no premium, according to the merits of the exhibit.
• Judges shall not award premiums to any exhibit deemed unworthy; i.e., soiled or incomplete.
• Excellence in sewing technique is determined in part by neatness or seams, hems, darts, bands, facings, fasteners and gathers.  Stitches should be fastened and threads clipped.  Bastings should be removed.  Article must be clean and neatly pressed.  Evidence of soil, animal hairs or smoking odors could result in premiums not being awarded. 
• Professional refers to anyone who makes their livelihood in sewing, charges a fee to teach or makes items for Sale and muster in Class F.
•   Enter hand stitched articles in Department 5 (Needle crafting).
• Entries must be picked up the Sunday immediately following the fair between the hours of 1 – 3 p.m.
