It is our pleasure to present an opportunity for the
citizens of northeastern North Carolina to showcase the
quality products which they have produced. 2010 is the
celebration of our 63rd year of bringing great family fun,
excitement, and entertainment. The date
for the 2010 Chowan County Regional Fair is Sept 28 - Oct 2,
2010, and the theme for this year's fair is "Growing Better
Communities".
This year many of our neighbors are experiencing hard
times due to high unemployment and the prolonged recession.
The Chowan County Regional Fair is proud to sponsor a
"Neighbors Helping Neighbors" program. This year a
"Food Pantry Drop Off Booth" will be set up at the
entrance to the Fair. We are asking everyone that
attends the Fair to bring one of the following
non-perishable food items, preferably in either canned or
plastic jars: Peanut Butter, Tomato Sauces, Canned
Vegetables, Beets, Carrots, Lima Beans, Mixed Vegetables,
Pork & Beans, Canned Fruit, Soup, Cereal, Tuna, Macaroni &
Cheese, Pasta & Spaghetti Sauce.
Your Neighbors Need Your Help.
The guidelines and rules, which are published in the Fair
booklet, are for anyone wishing to enter something in the
competitive exhibits departments. With 20 departments
to choose from, there is a special place for everyone's
entry!
We extend our sincere appreciation to all who have
exhibited in the past and look forward to working with new,
as well as past, exhibitors for the 2010 Chowan County
Regional Fair
