Junior Fair Board
Mission Statement
The mission of the Junior Fair Board is to involve local youth in:

Providing youth activities at the Fair
-
Developing new community leaders
-
Supporting the Fair Board in their pursuits
Guidelines
-
Members must be in grades 6-12 and located within the Fair region.

President must have been an active member for at least one year and is in 8th Grade or higher.

Other officers may be from regional area and be in 8th grade or higher.

Officer terms will be one year.

Nominations will be held annually in December and elections held at the following meeting in January.

Officers may be re-elected each year.

Committee members must participate in monthly meetings.

President must participate not only in the Junior Fair Board monthly meetings, but will represent the Jr. Fair Board at the monthly Fair Board meetings that take place every third Wednesday at 7:30pm.

All members must participate in doing fund-raisers throughout the year.

All members must participate in setting up the week before the fair and working the fair at least 4 hours in total. Parents are asked to participate in working the fair as well. (Time slots will be available at least one month before the fair date.
