Dear Pastor and Church Leadership,

 

We hope this message finds you well. On behalf of the volunteers and planning committee for the Chowan County Regional Fair, we are reaching out with a heartfelt request.

 

As we prepare for this year’s fair taking place the week of September 23 – 27, 2025, we are in dire need of help with parking support. With thousands of attendees expected throughout the week, having enough volunteers to help direct cars and maintain a safe and organized parking environment is absolutely essential to the fair’s success.

 

We are asking if your church might be willing to volunteer individuals or groups from your congregation to assist with parking on one or more nights during fair week. We will need at least 10-12 volunteers per night (Tuesday – Friday), and 3 groups of 10-12 on Saturday.

 

If your church would like to volunteer for a night and/or a Saturday time slot, please go to www.chowanfair.com/volunteers to complete the requested information. Please complete this information by September 1, 2025.

 

There will be a training meeting for the volunteers the week before the fair. We will contact you with the date and time. We understand everyone may not be able to attend, but we do request that at least one person from your group attend this meeting.
